Deuma produces a comprehensive range of longitudinal seam welding machines for the longitudinal seam welding of plates, pipes and tanks of various dimensions. The manufacturing program encompasses longitudinal seam welding machines for small diameter ranging from 80 to 1000 mm up to longitudinal seam welding machines for vessels of 9 m in length and plate thickness up to 25 mm.

The Longitudinal seam welding machines can be supplied complete with semi-automatic or automatic loading system.  Work piece clamping can be accomplished without the necessity of previous tack welding. Clamping is effected by the means of obliquely suspended individual cylinders with self-aligning (floating) clamping jaws at adjustable clamping pressure. Centre stops are provided for the alignment of the weld seam and for the setting of the welding gap.  In addition, in order to compensate for any misalignment from the mill aligning of both welding edges against each other, can be done by hydraulic cylinders.
